Thanksgiving in Las Vegas

Thanksgiving 2026 is a Thursday โ€” turkey-day buffets, three NFL games, Black Friday deals, and a 60-degree holiday. Here's where to feast and stay.

๐Ÿ— Find Your Thanksgiving Hotel

Thanksgiving in Las Vegas is the easy holiday โ€” someone else cooks the turkey, the football is on a hundred screens, and the weather sits in the low 60s. No dishes, no travel-day cooking, and the best buffets in the country are a short walk from your room. Here's where to feast and where to stay.

The Vegas Thanksgiving, in three parts

The feast. Nearly every big hotel runs a Thanksgiving menu โ€” carved turkey, stuffing, the whole spread โ€” at its buffets and steakhouses. Bacchanal at Caesars and Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan are the headline buffets; the fine-dining rooms at Wynn and Bellagio do plated turkey dinners. Book the restaurant two to three weeks out. Thanksgiving dinner reservations fill before the rooms do.

The football. Three NFL games run all Thanksgiving Day, and the sportsbooks turn into the best sports bars in the country โ€” stadium seating, wall-sized screens, and a bet on the game if you want one. Get to your book by late morning on Thursday to claim a seat.

The shopping. Black Friday in Vegas means the outlet malls and the Strip shops open early with real markdowns. The Las Vegas North and South Premium Outlets and the Fashion Show mall are the big three. Go early, before the Strip wakes up.

Where to stay for Thanksgiving weekend

Pick a hotel with a great kitchen in the building and the holiday runs itself โ€” roll downstairs to the feast, catch the football, and never touch a dish. These six put you on top of the best Thanksgiving dinners on the Strip.

Make a weekend of it

Thanksgiving falls four days after the Formula 1 race in 2026, so the city is already in high gear. Stretch the trip into the weekend โ€” the Bellagio fountains, a show, or a Grand Canyon or Hoover Dam day trip on the Friday while everyone else is shopping. Book the room early. A Thursday-holiday Thanksgiving fills the Strip fast, and every hotel adds a nightly resort fee of $35 to $55 on top of the rate.
