The track is the Strip. The best rooms face the circuit — here's where to book.
The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is unlike any other race because the track is the Strip itself. The 3.8-mile circuit runs right down Las Vegas Boulevard, past the Bellagio, the Venetian, and Wynn. That changes the hotel math completely: the best rooms are the ones inside the track with a window facing the circuit, so you never cross a closed road on race weekend.
Wynn, the Venetian, and the Cosmopolitan all sit trackside, with rooms that look down onto the circuit. A room facing the track means you can watch cars from your window and reach the grandstands without crossing closed roads — during F1 weekend, whole stretches of the Strip shut down, so being inside the track is worth far more than usual.
The rest of the center- and north-Strip hotels along the route — Caesars Palace, the Flamingo, Resorts World, Encore — put you within walking distance of the circuit even without a trackside room. These are the fallback when the marquee trackside rooms sell out, which they do months ahead.
F1 weekend is the single largest hotel-rate spike on the Vegas calendar. A trackside room can run four to five times its normal price, and the best ones book up months before the November race. If you want to be there, reserve as early as you can and lock the room before you buy anything else.
A trackside view also lets you skip a grandstand ticket if you'd rather watch from your room — for some fans that's the whole reason to book the room in the first place.
Confirm your room actually faces the track before you pay the premium — not every room in a trackside hotel has the view. Nearly every hotel adds a nightly resort fee of $35 to $55 on top of the rate, and F1-weekend rates are steep to begin with, so compare the all-in number.
