The order matters. Popular residency nights and the best Cirque seats sell out weeks ahead, and prices climb as the date fills. Buy the ticket first. Then set your hotel dates to match — flying in for a Sphere trip only to find your act is dark that week is the avoidable mistake here.
One resale tip: for concerts that don't sell out, the resale market often drops below face value in the last 90 minutes before curtain. If your dates are set and the show has open seats, waiting can pay off — though for a must-see residency, buy early and don't gamble on it.
